Dogs Got Talent launches this week - find out how to make your dog a star
IF YOUR FAMILY DOG HAS A SECRET SKILL OR TALENT, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
The Dorset Echo has teamed up with the Dorset County Show to bring you Dorset’s first ever Dogs Got Talent competition.
The talent or trick can be anything as long as your dog does it happily and for fun. It could be singing along to a favourite CD, playing a sport or retrieving. Maybe your dog has a beautiful smile or dances like the famous dog on Britain’s Got Talent. Whether your dog is young or old, slim or cuddly, pedigree or cross – if it’s got a talent, we want to see it!
To enter, all you have to do is take a video on your camera or phone and upload to www.youtube.com, double-check your video works, then e-mail the link to your video along with your dog's name, breed, age, owner's name, address, e-mail and contact number to debbie.hellaby@dorsetecho.co.uk
Your entry will then be uploaded to the Dorset Echo website, and after the closing date of the 1st August you and Dorset Echo readers, will be invited to vote by text, phone or voting form for your favourite video clip. The shortlist of clever canines will appear in the finals at the Dorset County Show on Saturday 4th September, judged by a team of dog-friendly judges. The competition is open to readers of all ages. Each entry must be submitted individually. Prizes cannot be transferred.
