A Charity Ball is being organised on behalf of Weldmar Hospicecare Trust and will be held at the Showground on Saturday 10th September.
Jan Wilson, one of the organisers of this Charity Ball said that it is "in memory of a dear friend that received end of life care at the Hospice. I was so touched by our friend and the care that she received at Weldmar, that I made the decision to become a ward volunteer at the Hospice. As group of friends we decided to embark on a fund raising mission for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, and have organised several local events in Bradford Peverell but this is our greatest challenge yet!"
The organisers are delighted to have the backing and support of Dorset County Show who have allowed the Ball to be held in the main hospitality marquee the week after the Show on the 10th September. The Show are providing the marquee and the utilities free of charge and the committee are grateful for their generosity and support.
The Ball is going to be a prestigious and glamourous Black Tie event. It will be lots of fun and a great party.
The tickets are £75 per head or £600 for a table of 8. This includes prosecco and canapes on arrival, a four course sit down meal by Rebecca Green Catering, after dinner entertainment from the Amy Mayes band, ending with a disco until 2am.
If you would like any further information about the event, or if you would like to donate a raffle prize or auction item, please contact Jan Wilson by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please do come and support the event on Saturday 10th September. You will have a great night and be an important part of supporting a very worthy course.
