Early bird tickets for this year’s Dorset County Show go on sale this week at just £12 for adults.
Once again, there is free entry for children under 16 at this year’s two day Show, which takes place on 2 and 3 September at the Cokers Frome Showground on the outskirts of Dorchester.
The £12 early bird rate is available until 31 July when prices will rise to £14. Show tickets will be available from 27 August at £17.
Wakely Cox, Chairman of the Dorchester Agricultural Society, said the Show – one of the most iconic in Dorset’s annual calendar – would be a celebration of agriculture, food and rural life.
“We will be introducing new horse and sheep classes, including the introduction of new breeds being exhibited at the Show for the first time.
“We have had lots of bookings for trade stands including those in our food halls and craft marquee and are adding some intermediate horticulture classes – bridging the gap between novice and open classes,” he said.
Advance tickets are from today available online from the Dorset County Show website. From mid-July they will also be available from Tourist Information Centres across the county.
