How to book a stand at the show
The Show is a great opportunity to promote your business and sell your wares. With around 55,000 visitors expected over the two days we are delighted to be joined by in excess of 500 traders each year.
We offer 5 different types of stands:
Open Outside Trade - ENTRY FORM
This is for those who have or hire their own marquee/gazebo/trailer and just require an open space to erect it in. The spaces come in 6m or 12m depths and start with 6m frontage going up in 3m sections. We have 15 avenues for Open Outside Space including specific avenues for Agricultural Trade, Equestrian and Country Sports. Stands start at £250 + VAT for a 6m x 6m open outside space. Agricultural Tradestands start at £130 + VAT for 6m x 6m.
Tented Outside Trade - ENTRY FORM
This is available for those who wish to be outside but would like us to provide the marquee. These stands are 6m deep and start with 3m frontage going up in 3m sections. They are housed in shedding which is open to the front onto the avenue and are all sited in Avenue D. These start at £365 + VAT for 3m x 6m.
Shopping Mall - ENTRY FORM
This large clearspan marquee houses around 60 stands and is a popular destination for visitors. Stands are 3m deep and start with 3m frontage going up in 1.5m sections. The sites is on grass, backing on to the marquee wall and no partitions or tables are provided. Electricity points are available at extra charge. These stands start at £198 + VAT for a 3m x 3m site.
Food Halls - ENTRY FORM
Our two popular food halls house around 50 stands in clearspan marquees. The Dorset Food Hall is for companies based in Dorset only and the Food Hall is open to other food businesses. The stands in both Halls start at 3m deep with frontage starting at 3m and going up in 1.5m sections. The sites is on grass, backing on to the marquee wall and no partitions or tables are provided. Electricity points are available at extra charge. These stands start at £120 + VAT for 3m x 3m in the Dorset Food Hall and £180 + VAT for 3m x 3m in the Food Hall. Refreshments can be sold but an additional 12.5% of takings will be charged.
Farmers Market - only 10 spaces available - ENTRY FORM
Last year a new Farmers Market was added for members of the Dorset Farmers Market/ Held in our busy Countryside Area it was very popular with Show goers. For those who have not exhibited at the Show before an introductory rate of £75 is available. No food for immediate consumption may be sold from these stands.
Plant Avenue & Floral Pavilion - ENTRY FORM
This new Plant Avenue feature at the Dorset County Show IS open to all professional growers and sellers of ornamental and edible plants who produce more than 75% of their own plants. This cost effective option for having a stand provides a high profile presence within the popular horticultural zone. 3m x 3m pitches are available. A 3m x 3m space is £50.00 available on a first come first served basis. The Floral Pavilion hosts the traditional floral trade exhibits judged by our experienced judges on Saturday morning. Catering Concessions - ENTRY FORM & REGULATIONS
18 Catering Concessions are available for the Show. To apply for one of these you need to submit a tender on the form provided and all applications are considered in March prior to the Show. Charges for Catering Concessions are 22.5% net of sales based on actual sales.
