Out and about around the Showground you will find numerous outlets for food and drink.
Catering Units
Our catering units are specially selected to provide good quality refreshments at affordable prices. Enjoy local hog roasts, speciality burgers and free range chicken in one of our 3 food courts. You can also relax with some great freshly ground coffee or tuck into to a bag of fresh donuts! Our ice cream is provided by Swales Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream, whose ice cream is produced from their own milk on their own farm in Yorkshire.
Food Halls
Our two food halls are the popular destination for a wide range of delicious food a drink. Our Dorset Food Hall features producers from Dorset selling a great selection of wares from fudge to free range meats, preserves, cheeses and cider. You can also enjoy a live cookery demonstration in the Dorset Food Hall presented by local chefs. The Food Hall showcases regional and international food including olives, breads, wine and cooking sauces. With over 60 stands in our Food Halls you will be sure to find something tempt your tastebuds!
Farmers Market
In the Village Green you will find our Dorset Farmers Market. Ten local food producers will be joining us to promote and sell the very best of Dorset food. Be sure to give them a visit and find something to take home and enjoy.
Members Dining
For those who enjoy a more refined dining experience becoming a Member of the Dorchester Agricultural Society gives you access to our exclusive Members and Vice Presidents Dining Areas. Adjacent to the Main Ring the Members Restaurant will be serving cooked breakfast, buffet lunch and afternoon tea. The Vice Presidents Dining provides a three course luncheon with table service.
