Pig Section - Entries now Closed
The pig section runs over Saturday and Sunday of the Show and competitors can arrive from Friday afternoon. We have seperate breed classes, Pork Pigs, Young Handlers and pairs. The pig section is run by Jenny Norman and her experienced stewards. The pigs are housed in a large marquee with high walls to give a good airy environment. There are large purpose built pens for each exhibitor and straw is provided.
Camping for livestock exhibitors is in the field behind the cattle lines and loos and showers are available. A complimentary breakfast is available for stockmen in the Stockman's Breakfast Tent on Saturday and SUnday morning from 6am (two tickets per exhibitor). Hot food is available in the Members Pavilion and Bar on Friday night and Saturday night it hosts the popular Stockman's Supper.
