Sheep
Our Sheep Show has grown over the last 4 years to a record entry of 800, we hope to better that this year and with so many different breeds represented a stroll around the sheep section can be a real eye opener.
The breed classes take place on Saturday morning and then Sunday morning hosts the popular groups and pairs classes followed by the supreme Championships.
The Sheep Shearing takes place between the Sheep and Cattle sections in the livestock field. Be sure to visit this competitive attraction with shearers from across the country battling it out for the prizes.
There is also a live lamb and carcass competion, the winning carcasses can been seen in the carcass tent and purchased at the Show. The fleece competition takes place on Sunday.
