Sheep Section - Entries now Closed
Our sheep section runs over both Show days with the breed classes taking place on Saturday and the championship and interbreed on Sunday. We expect to see over 800 entries in over 100 classes over the two days. We also hold classes for Sheep Shearing, Fleece, Commercial Lamb/Carcass and Young Handlers. Our sheep section is run by Bill Britton and his experienced stewards.
Sheep are all housed under cover in large marquees with straw provided. Camping for exhibitors is behind the sheep lines and loos and showers are available. Each exhibitor receives two complimentary tickets for breakfast in the Stockman's Breakfast Tent. This is available Saturday and Sunday morning from 6am. The Members Bar and Pavilion is open on Friday night for hot food and on Saturday night for the popular Stockman's Supper.
