Fabulous Food & Farming Education Fund
The 1840 Education Fund was set up to commemorate 175 years of the Dorchester Agricultural Society, which was formed in 1840. The Fund is now known as Fabulous Food & Farming.
The Education Fund is a restricted fund solely to meet the following Charitable aims:
“To provide education for schoolchildren within the county of Dorset to gain knowledge in agriculture, horticulture and other rural enterprises”
The Fund predominantly covers travel costs involved in getting schools on to local farms but also welcomes applications for capital projects.
