DokBlok is a practical, portable, beautifully-crafted, wooden docking station for mobile phones and tablets. Uniquely it amplifies sound naturally whilst devices can also be charged.
Handmade from locally-sourced oak and ash, DokBlok is ideal for all hands free activities including listening to music and audio books, watching films and amplifying calls, both in the home and whilst traveling. When not in use it can be appreciated as an object d'art to enhance any room.
From a small workshop in the rolling Blackdown Hills, Somerset, Julian Bailey and Caroline Womersley set out to produce a new technology accessory, using only natural materials that would be beautiful, functional and durable. They designed and constructed the first oak and ash DokBlok using wood's inherent amplification properties.
